Roberto was an excellent host. He made us feel extremely welcome - providing food and tips for places to visit, taking time to talk to us and introducing us to friends and visitors.

The property itself is completely beautiful and feels even more green and lush than in the photos. Every where you looked was a gorgeous view of a waterfall or the ocean. Even though it rained, we stayed very warm and dry in the tipi and the bed was incredibly comfortable. There were other guests there, but we couldn't see or hear them at all from our space. The kitchen provided a really nice common area and gave us the chance to interact with the other guests and Roberto and his friends. It was a bit of an adventure getting to the property itself, which made it feel extremely isolated and even more special. The only problem was that we didn't stay long enough. We look forward to returning again as soon as we possibly can.

We were very overwhelmed by Roberto's Glamping paradise! Arriving in the night Roberto was very kind to meet us at the tippy. Walking through small paths between the banana trees, I felt like being part of an adventures fairytale. Clear sky filled with stars, and the sound of the waves from the Atlantic made me feel so far from the city and totally in one with the nature!

The tippy is very cozy, with a good bed, and the best thing is to wake up in the morning and just outside the tippy, you have an absolutely amazing view of the ocean and the plantation. My boyfriend and me will definitely come back and stay at Roberto's! It is the unique experience I have had traveling. The pictures do not even add up to the beauty and peace you feel relaxing in the hammocks. Roberto and his friend joined us for a glass of wine one night, and we could really feel Roberto's enthusiasm for this project. He is a very inspiring person and puts his whole heart and soul in it. And you can definitely feel that when you stay at the plantation. Roberto has thought of everything, which makes your stay fantastic! He even made four different kinds of homemade jams for his guests to enjoy, and you are welcome to eat of all the nice fruits and vegetables in the garden! Thank you for creating this hidden paradise on the beautiful island of Madeira!
